Jobcentre warned on late-night alarm bells

AN OFFICIAL warning has been issued to a Jobcentre by the city council after its intruder alarm kept going off late at night.
The council received complaints after the alarm in the building in Charles Street repeatedly sounded five nights in a row between Wednesday and Sunday last week.
Katrina Wong, who lives in Belgrave Gate, opposite the Jobcentre, said: “There were issues last year with it going off early each morning and the city council got in touch and dealt with it.
