In pursuit of hoppiness

WETHERSPOON pubs are hosting a 12-day beer festival showcasing an exclusive menu across Leicestershire from this week.

Thirty real ales, including five from international brewers, will be available at eight Wetherspoon pubs in the city and county.

Kicking off on Wednesday and running until Sunday, October 12, it is the first time pubs have served a real ale from India and France.

Other overseas brewers will come from locations such as Australia two the USA.

The majority of beers on offer have "been brewed for the first time", exclusively with the festival in mind.

As well as a range of malt and hop varieties from across the globe, there are also beers that will include cucumber, lime, vanilla, blackberries, and spices in their ingredients.
