County growers help spruce up Downing Street

TRUST WINS A COMPETITION TO PROVIDE TREE TO NUMBER 10

THIS year’s Christmas tree for 10 Downing Street has been provided by a Leicestershire trust.

The group of growers won the opportunity to place a 19ft Norway spruce outside the Prime Minister's home after being crowned the best in the country.

Cadeby Tree Trust was crowned this year’s Champion Christmas Tree Grower, while also being in the running for a number of other awards.
