Cifuentes happy to be reunited with goalkeeper coach

MARTI Cifuentes is backing new Leicester City goalkeeping coach Javi Ortiz to improve the whole department after “finally” arriving at the club.

In the first coaching appointment at City since Cifuentes arrived alongside his assistant manager Xavi Calm in July, Ortiz has joined from Norwegian club Sandefjord.

It's a reunion for the City manager and Ortiz, left, who know each from their days coaching in Barcelona, with Cifuentes bringing Ortiz to Norway with him. After five years apart, they're working together again.

City have been working to bring in Ortiz for some time.
