Leicester Mercury
|February 21, 2026
THE work of a charity that helps people become independent has been boosted by a donation from housebuilder Barratt and David Wilson Homes.
-
Falcon Support Services works to reconnect people who are often excluded, including those experiencing homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, learning difficulties, social isolation, poverty and those leaving care, prison or the armed forces.
The charity provides accommodation and equips individuals with essential life skills.
It received £3,000 from the housebuilder.
Rachel Hall, deputy CEO of Falcon Support Services, said: "When Barratt and David Wilson Homes got in touch to say we had been chosen to receive the donation, it felt amazing knowing someone had suggested us for the funding.
