Shoplifter warned as he notches up his 118th offence
ONE-MAN crimewave Daniel Standell has been jailed after he was caught shoplifting - again.
The 32-year-old was made the subject of a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) on January 14 which banned him from entering the Co-op in West Street, Leek, right, and Derby Street.
But just two months later the defendant walked into the Co-op and stole four bottles of wine and a chicken wrap. Now Standell who has 48 previous convictions for 117 offences including more than 70 thefts has been jailed for 10 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
