Experience is key for McKibbin after he adds another gold to collection

EPSOM'S Aaron McKibbin followed up his singles gold medals last week by taking gold in the men’s class 8 singles at the inaugural ITTF World Para Elite Lasko tournament in Slovenia.

McKibbin won his first match 3-1 against World number 12 Borna Zohil from Croatia, winner of the Paralympic World Qualification Tournament last year and progressed to the quarter-finals with a 3-1 win against Alejandro Diaz, the World number 18 from Spain.
He shared the first two sets with World number three Clement Berthier, the European doubles champion from France and then edged a tight third 13-11 before completing a 3-1 win, 11-7 in the fourth.
