Towers edge closer to demolition

Demolition work is continuing on three tower blocks near Preston city centre. As these new pictures taken by Lancashire Post photographer Neil Cross show, cranes now dwarf the once-landmark structures. Richmond House, Carlisle House and Lincoln House in Avenham are all set to disappear from the skyline - something the two archive photos show they have dominated for decades.
