Tens of thousands of patients were waiting for routine treatment at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust in August, figures show.
It comes the waiting list across England for planned treatment increased for the third consecutive month.
NHS England figures show 65,328 patients were waiting for non-urgent elective operations or treatment at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at the end of August - up from 64,573 in July, and 58,589 in Aug-24. Of those, 2,158 (3%) had been waiting for longer than a year.
