Staff help save swarm of honey bees hiding down car park drain

Staff at a Kirkham business had buzz-are surprise when they discovered a swarm of over 20,000 honey bees hidden on the premises.

While investigating an unusual hum outside the office, the team at construction firm Warden Construction uncovered a hive of approximately 23,000 bees hidden inside a manhole cover at the bottom of the car park.
