3AM’s thoughts on the latest Premier League transfer rumours from Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Brighton

- Matthew Gregory

According to TeamTalk - citing the print edition of Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo - Manchester City and Manchester United have "joined the race" for Karl Etta Eyong.

The Cameroon forward has scored five goals in his first seven league games for Levante; form which has “impressed top clubs all around Europe” with the two Mancunian clubs said to be at the front of the queue along with Barcelona.

Etta Eyong apparently has a release clause in his contract which will make him available to a Premier League team for €40m (£35m).
