Cross-party calls for safe crossing at accident spot

A petition has been launched for a new safe crossing point on a road that saw a collision where the victim was left in a critical condition.

Lancashire Constabulary is still appealing for information regarding the incident on Port Way, close to Preston Docks, which left a young man in a critical condition in hospital.

The road was closed for some time on October 31 after a Mercedes Box Van was involved in a collision with the pedestrian.
