'A magical evening' boosts funds for newborn charity

An event at Preston's Imperial Banqueting Suite held to celebrate Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, also celebrated the work of Baby Beat by featuring a fundraising raffle and auction that, with donations, has to date raised £1,522 for the mums and babies charity.
In addition to its fundraising, the family focused get-together, organised by Royal Preston Hospital senior consultant Dr Munish Batra, helped by his family and friends, combined food with music.
