Rajini confirms collab with Kamal, hunt on for director

It's official. A Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan reunion on screen is happening after more than four-and-a-half decades. And this time, confirmation came from the superstar himself.

Rajinikanth, whose latest movie Coolie has now released on streaming platforms, told reporters at the Chennai airport on September 17 that the duo, who have cumulatively acted in more than 400 films over five decades, have been wanting to get to act together for a long time now. “There’s a plan,” he said with a smile when queried if the two stars intend to act together.
