Snowfall Turns Aru Valley into Winter Wonderland

SRINAGAR: A first spell of snowfall, though limited to just a few inches, transformed the picturesque Aru Valley in Pahalgam into a breathtaking winter wonderland, drawing smiles, excitement and renewed enthusiasm among tourists visiting the famed destination, nestled in Himalayas, in South Kashmir.
As gentle snowflakes blanketed meadows, rooftops and pine-covered _ slopes, the entire valley took on a pristine white look, offering visitors a postcard-perfect setting. The snowfall, the first one of the season in the area, Was enough to change the landscape dramatically without causing disruption to road connectivity or daily activities, making it ideal for tourists.
Visitors, including families and adventure enthusiasts, were seen clicking photographs, throwing snowballs and simply soaking in the serene beauty of the valley. Many said that even a light snowfall had fulfilled their long-cherished dream of witnessing Kashmir’s winter charm.
