Walk through a narrow alley in Anantnag, or past the bustling bazaars of Sopore, and you'll find it everywhere: education without certificates. A grandmother reciting a verse. A father teach-ing his daughter how to measure rice. These are classrooms too.

Science backs what Kashmiris al-ready live: 90% of brain development hap-pens before age five. That's before formal schooling. Before report cards. Before anyone outside the home takes over.

Parents are not just caregivers. They are builders. What they build ear-ly, lasts.

But parenting today is harder than ever. Screens tug at attention. Compe-tition crushes joy. Even in the serene parts of valley, the noise has arrived. And somewhere between ambition and anxiety, many parents have begun out-sourcing what once belonged at home.
