DYSS Organises Sports Activities Across Zones In Kashmir

The Department of Youth Services and Sports resumed its Inter-Zonal and Inter-School competitions across multiple districts in Jammu and Kashmir, marking an energetic return after the summer break.
In north Kashmir's Bandipora, the Baseball (Girls U-17 and U-19) event commenced at HSS Nadihal with enthusiastic participation from various zones.
Meanwhile, Anantnag witnessed a vibrant Fit India Run, flagged off from Mominabad Bypass Crossing and culminating at Donipawa Crossing. Students and staff from various institutions participated, promoting a message of health and unity. Medals were awarded to top performers in both student and staff categories. Additionally, district-level volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, and yoga events are ongoing, further strengthening the sports ecosystem in the region.
