Prison for shoplifter caught with carload of stolen underpants

A MAN has been convicted of shoplifting just days after police in Thanet discovered more than £500 worth of stolen men’s underwear in his car.
-
Two women were also arrested as part of the same investigation by Kent Police.
Neighbourhood officers were on duty on Sunday, June 1 as part of a targeted operation to tackle shoplifting in the Westwood area.
Working alongside store security staff, officers received reports of a group acting suspiciously inside a local store.
