GREENHALGH PLEASED TO HAVE MORE TIME FOR SMALL THINGS THIS SUMMER

- By KAYLEE SECKINGTON

Boss focused on fine details

GETTING the majority of his business done early has allowed Ben Greenhalgh to focus on the little details at Margate including the club's new Inter Milan inspired kit.

After starting his career at Welling United, Greenhalgh took part in football reality show Football's Next Star in 2010, where he won a contract at Italian giants Inter Milan.

During the Margate player-manager's time in Italy, Inter won the Champions League in 2010 - and it was the shirt they were wearing that day that has inspired Gate's home shirt for 2025-26.

Margate said of their new kit: "Designed by local Margate artist Luke McLean, the shirt embodies the spirit of the town and the passion of our supporters. McLean's eye for bold, dynamic visuals brings the shirt to life, with electric lines pulsing across the fabric a symbol of energy, ambition, and unity.

"Proudly made by O'Neill's and featuring sponsor The Libertines, the 25/26 home shirt is more than just a kit it's a statement. Ready for the terraces and festivals such as Glastonbury which has become a common sight since our first launch with the rock band."
