Two jobs just to make ends meet

MATT Pearson, a student nurse, has two jobs, in a care home and a hotel, on top of placement hours and study.

It means Matt, 39, at Anglia Ruskin uni in Cambridge, is working over 60 hours a week.

"When there are shortages on placement they put me down as a member of staff, even though I'm a student and I'm here to learn," he told us.
