SHE had surgery to shed six-and-a-half stone, but Lorraine Stanley has lost none of her acting clout.

The 49-year-old made her name as EastEnders' loud but lovable Karen Taylor for six years, leaving in 2023.

Now she has been pictured filming for Cash in Hand, a series about Essex grafters.
