Brit survivor 'can leave hospital soon'

UK air accident investigators have arrived in India as recovery teams continue to scour the site of Thursday's Air India disaster.

Last night the hunt was continuing for the plane's second black box recorder - as doctors revealed the sole surviving passenger will soon be able to leave hospital.

At least 270 people died when the London-bound Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed less than a minute after takeoff.

That included 241 on board, 52 of them British, and at least 29 others as the plane hit a hostel at a medical college in Ahmedabad.
