TRIBE HAVE TO TURN UP THIS TIME: FOGARTY

KILKENNY All-Ireland winner Aidan Fogarty says the narrative out there ahead of the Leinster final is, 'What Galway team is going to turn up?' Derek Lyng's Cats hammered Micheal Donoghue's side in the group stages by 12 points at Nowlan Park.

But Galway have regrouped to win the other four games in the group, including a first ever Leinster Championship win over Dublin in the capital.

Kilkenny, though, are going for six Leinster titles in a row, while Galway haven't won a provincial title since 2018 and were beaten by Kikenny in the 2020, 2022 and 2023 deciders.

"That's the conundrum with every manager that went up (to Galway)," Fogarty (inset) told KCLR.
