THE Cure's guitarist and keyboard player Perry Bamonte has died aged 65, the band have said.

The post-punk group said the musician died "after a short illness at home".
A post on the band's website read: "Quiet, intensive, intuitive, constant and hugely creative, 'Teddy' was warm hearted and vital part of The Cure story.
