'Under no circumstances' will relatives of Ashling Murphy's killer be allowed to stay

- BY JOHN KIERANS

GETTING THE BOOT

THE family of evil killer Josef Puska will be kicked out of Ireland when they finish serving their jail sentences, we can reveal.

His wife, two brothers and sisters in law, who were all convicted for covering up the murder of teacher Ashling Murphy and withholding information, will be due for release in March next year.

Removing them will be part of the Government's new zero tolerance policy when it comes to foreign migrants carrying out serious crimes in Ireland, whether they are from the EU or not.

It is understood that the Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan is adamant that those involved in such criminal activities will not be allowed to remain here once they finish serving their sentences.

He has already sanctioned the deportation of criminals back to Georgia and Romania, including a number of sexual offenders

A Government source said: "The plan is to deport all five members of Josef Puska's family who were involved in covering up what he did and did not cooperate with the Gardai at the time.

"The murder of Ashling Murphy was one of the worst crimes committed in Ireland in modern times and under no circumstances will they be allowed to remain here once they are freed from prison.
