Football world unites to mourn tragic death of Red ace Jota

YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE

THE football world is in mourning following the tragic death of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota in a car crash.

Jota and his brother Andre Silva died in northern Spain when the Lamborghini they were travelling in left the road and burst into flames.

Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who signed Jota from Wolves in 2020, said he was "heartbroken" at the loss of the 28-year-old.

Heartbroken

"This is a moment where I struggle," Klopp wrote on Instagram. "There must be a bigger purpose, but I can't see it.

"I'm heartbroken to hear about the passing of Diogo and his brother Andre".

Cristiano Ronaldo, who along with Jota led Portugal to Nations League glory over Spain last month, wrote:
