|October 24, 2025
THREE men have been arrested in London on suspicion of assisting Russia's intelligence service.
The trio, aged 44, 45 and 48, were held as part of an investigation into alleged offences under the UK's National Security Act.
It comes as detectives try to clamp down on the increasing number of “proxies” being recruited by foreign intelligence services.
The men were detained at addresses in west and central London yesterday.
