TD blasts Mick Wallace over bizarre video

A FIANNA Fail TD has questioned why former MEP Mick Wallace is trying to "stir things up" by sharing a "dangerous" AI video of president-elect Catherine Connolly.

Following Ms Connolly's resounding win on Saturday, Mr Wallace posted an AI-generated video of her to X.

The clip depicted the president-elect wearing a Tricolour balaclava and a Palestinian keffiyeh while holding an AK-47.

The post was captioned: "Irish Mainstream Media did their utmost to protect the Establishment and the interests of Western Imperialism as they tried to undermine Catherine Connolly's Presidential bid. They failed..."
