Thousands enjoy best of the fest around Ireland

THOUSANDS of revellers put on their dancing shoes over the weekend as festival season in Ireland is in full swing.

In Wicklow, family festival Kaleidoscope had its biggest turn out ever, with music and events taking place from Friday to Sunday.

Located at Russborough House, festival goers of all ages enjoyed sets from homegrown talent such as The Coronas, Hermitage Green, Allie Sherlock and The Riptide Movement.

As Ireland enjoyed highs of 25C over the weekend with sunny spells, those at Folly Festival in Laois enjoyed an active weekend.
