Penalty kick takers beware when facing Kelleher as he enhances his top reputation from 12 yards

- BY MARK McCADDEN

TAKE YOUR BEST SPOT!

CAOIMHIN KELLEHER can now boast a ridiculous 67 percent penalty save record in the Premier League.

Sunderland's Enzo Le Fee became the Brentford and Ireland goalkeeper's latest victim from the spot when his Panenka attempt was easily plucked out of the air by the Corkman on Wednesday night.

That was Kelleher's EIGHTH career spot-kick save, excluding shootouts, to date.

The Boys in Green star has faced 26 penalties for club and country, so that's a 31 percent success rate, which is quite remarkable. But not as astonishing as his Premier League run.

So far this season he has saved four out of seven that he has faced for both Brentford and Ireland and he has stopped them to his left, to his right, blasted down the middle and now a Panenka effort.

When Kelleher saves a penalty, the odds are that his team will get the win - as has been the case seven out of the eight times that he has been successful from the spot.

Here are all of his career penalty saves to date...
