Scot bones find is linked to Irish case

HUMAN remains found on a Scottish beach earlier this month have been linked to a discovery of a body on the Irish coast.

The grim discovery was made at the popular Prestwick Beach on the morning of June 10.

A witness claimed a leg bone with a sock and shoe still attached was found.

The remains have now been identified and linked to the discovery of a man’s body on the coast of Millisle, Co Down, in May.
