Salma Hayek I still embrace sexy ... but I won't stop fighting for change

In 2004, she collected data from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to bolster her pitch to get Ugly Betty, a US version of a Colombian telenovela, on the air. Two years later, it became a global hit.

"I won't complain about anything that I haven't tried to change," she tells Marie Claire magazine.

"Somebody has to do it. And nobody has as much experience in so many places, for this amount of time."

It would be easy for Salma, who wed French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault in 2009, to relax and only take occasional roles.
