HEIMIR Hallgrímsson says he will accept a “shitty” performance tonight if it means that Ireland’s 2026 World Cup dream isn’t flushed down the toilet.
The Boys in Green boss has warned that it might not be pretty as his players attempt to get revenge over Armenia for last month’s defeat in Yerevan.
But Armenia boss Yeghishe Melikyan has warned Ireland his team are ready to go to “war” with them in the quest for a place at next summer's World Cup.
If Ireland can collect all three points at the Aviva Stadium tonight, Hallgrímsson doesn’t care how they do it, nor does he mind when the goal is scored.
