Rod and famous Faces heat up teatime

ROD Stewart gave a sweltering Glastonbury a welcome blast from the past with the help of his Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood.

The 80-year-old rocker and Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie, 78, rolled back the years by belting out 1971 hit Stay With Me in 30C temperatures.

It was a highlight of a rousing set in which Lulu, 76, and 65-year-old Mick Hucknall joined Rod as special guests.

The veteran was in the teatime legend's slot on the Pyramid Stage before US sensation Olivia Rodrigo, 22, closed the festival yesterday.
