Pep sets up a City clear-out

Turkish side Galatasaray want veteran midfielder Gundogan, who has one year left on his contract.

Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish are also set to leave the Etihad as City are open to offers for both after they were left out of the Club World Cup squad.

Era

That follows Kevin De Bruyne leaving for Napoli, with the Italian club now also linked to Grealish.

It will signal the start of a new era for City, who have spent around €350m on eight new players.

City boss Guardiola admits the squad is too big and will breed problems if players are not playing next season, another factor as well as balancing the books as to why they will look to offload.
