EIGHT tries and a defensive masterclass, rarely have Ireland put in such a coherent Women's Six Nations away display.

There were four first-half tries from the outside backs, Aoife Dalton scoring with less than a minute on the clock, Anna McGann crossing twice and Amee-Leigh Costigan also getting over in Parma.

Eve Higgins too made a terrific contribution from No.12 but this team's defence is also a thing of wonder, with the front row adding the kind of tackling numbers that are unprecedented.
