WILL O'DONOGHUE insists Limerick aren't driven by vengeance as they get set to face Cork.

It will be a top-of-the-table clash at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday week as the two sides leading the All-Ireland betting odds face off in Munster, in what could be the first of three Championship clashes between them this summer.

They met twice in last year’s Championship, with Cork winning both; the first a barnstorming encounter with a breathless finish that saved their season.

The second was an epic All-Ireland semi-final that saw Limerick's five-in-a-row ambitions perish.

Last Saturday's impressive dismantling of a Waterford side on a high from beating All-Ireland champions Clare six days earlier showed Limerick aren't short of hunger.

But O'Donoghue says it’s not sourced from the disappointment of falling short in 2024.
