No Gibbs and take say Forest

MORGAN Gibbs-White's €70m move to Spurs has been put on hold as angry Nottingham Forest weigh up legal action over an alleged illegal approach.

Spurs had pencilled in a medical for the midfielder yesterday after triggering his release clause.

But the transfer may now be in jeopardy with Forest preparing a letter of complaint to the Premier League over what they believe is the tapping up of their star player.

They are furious with how Spurs have attempted to sign Gibbs-White without getting Forest's permission to speak with him.
