TRAILBLAZING comic Anne Gildea says her new show is a tribute to the women who fought for the freedoms we have today.

Anne - part of Ireland's first all-female comedy trio The Nualas - wants to honour those who paved the way for women's lib, such as firebrand Derry feminist Nell McCafferty.

Her latest tour, Further Adventures in Womaning, is a satirical look at feminism from the 20th to the 21st century.
