My girl's knocked me back six times

AM I a fool for continuing to worship and indulge my long-term lover?

My girl's knocked me back six times

I've always known she doesn't love me as much as I adore her.

She tolerates me but has never considered me good enough.

We've been an item for five years but never lived together. She has separate friends I'm never invited to mix with and her stuck-up family shun me.

Our sex life is good. She says my stamina and eagerness in bed are the best things about me, but she's never spent a full night in my flat. She likes to wake up in her own space surrounded by her things and thinks nothing of ordering me to drive her home even if it's two in the morning.

She likes the food I cook and the places I take her to, but she's never once put her hand in her pocket to treat me.
