Johnny tells of tough year ahead of musical premiere

ACTOR Johnny Ward has told how his brave mother plans to be in the audience for the Irish premiere of the Little Shop Of Horrors.

The former Love/Hate and Fair City actor stars in the upcoming show at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, which opens to the public from tomorrow.

The Dubliner takes on the role of Orin in the all-star cast.

When the actors - who include David O'Reilly and Kenneth O'Regan - perform, Johnny said he will have more than just his lines on his mind.
