After Ireland heroics Troy vows to keep foot on gas
TROY PARROTT insists his feet are firmly back on the ground after his Republic of Ireland heroics in world cup qualifying.
The hat-trick hero of Budapest lines out for AZ Alkmaar against Shelbourne tonight in a do or die Conference League clash for the League of Ireland side.
Both Shelbourne and AZ are marooned outside the playoff places in the League table, and a win is a must for both sides.
His focus may be on Shels, but the Portland Row native can't help but be pulled back to that magical week in the green of Ireland.
"It was probably the best week I have had in my life, I've said that a few times now," said Parrott.
