Lowry: I'll putt it all together for Ryder Cup

SHANE Lowry can't wait for what is around the corner and insists his cold putter will get hot again in time for the BMW PGA Championship in Wentworth and the Ryder Cup.

Lowry carded a 71 to finish a disappointing Amgen Irish Open in seven under par for a tie for 15th place.

After finishing his round, he admitted to feeling a “a little jealous” that his friend Rory Mcllroy was in the hunt for the title - Mcllroy has now overtaken Lowry’s one win, in 2009 - but he was going to hang around and watch how it all shook out.

"Hopefully he can get it done," said Lowry, and he will be delighted for Mcllroy that he did.
