Thousands set to march for tragic scoliosis boy

THOUSANDS are expected to attend today's “Justice for Harvey” march in Dublin as Harvey Morrison Sherratt's parents fight for better rights and access to timely healthcare for children with disabilities.

The march, which is being organised by parents, friends and advocates of Harvey, assembles at 2pm at the Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Square, today and will end at Custom House.

Harvey, 9, who suffered from scoliosis, died on July 29. He had spent years awaiting scoliosis surgery before his death.

In 2017, while serving as Minister for Health, Tanaiste Simon Harris pledged that no child in Ireland would wait more than four months for scoliosis treatment.
