I'm not sure Spurs have the heart. They look in big trouble

TOTTENHAM and Liverpool both have something to prove tomorrow.
-
In Liverpool's case, it's proving that they can actually challenge for something this season.
In Spurs' case, it's proving that they can stay IN the Premier League. That might sound alarmist, but remember how close they came last year? They were just lucky that there were three clubs, in Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton, that were even worse than them.
Spurs might be mid-table right now, but they are really poor. Last weekend's thumping at Nottingham Forest should set alarm bells ringing, because the only thing saving them so far this season has been their away form.
So if that unravels, then they could be in serious trouble.
Liverpool have made a decent attempt so far at turning things around. The win away to Inter Milan was really impressive, as was the result against Brighton last weekend.
I think we are now in the post-Mo Salah period, because I'm not sure he will be back at Anfield or back in Arne Slot's side at least after the Africa Cup of Nations.
They have looked far more organised and have had a better shape without him, and I got the feeling when he came off the bench against Brighton that it was a farewell moment for the forward.
For Liverpool and for Slot, it's all about business now and they could easily sell him to the Saudis in January.
If that turns out to be the case, they did the right thing in bringing him on last weekend so that he could say goodbye to the fans.
There was a real sense in that moment that it was a goodbye, because you could see Salah tearing up.
If that is the case, then this really is the beginning of the post-Salah era.
