Festival-goers are in for a weekend of wind and rain

PUNTERS at Electric Picnic this weekend should bring their umbrellas as Met Eireann has forecast a weekend of heavy rain pouring down on the country.

Met Eireann forecasters have said the coming days will be unsettled and windy at times with showers and longer spells of rain.

Tomorrow, heavy downpours are most likely in the south, west and northwest, with the possibility of spot flooding.
