Concern at number of non-voters

THE public are happy with the way the last general election was conducted - but there are growing concerns that over 40% didn't bother voting, a new survey has revealed.

The study comes after November's controversial poll when the outgoing government parties were accused of misleading voters about the numbers of homes built last year.

This survey will add to the controversy as it shows that when it came to voting a particular way, 35% said housing was their main issue.
