CELTIC KEEN TO ADD JAMIE TO THE ATTACK

CELTIC are still in the mix to land Jamie Vardy as the clock ticks down to tool up ahead of tomorrow's Champions League showdown with Kairat Almaty.

The Hoops have until 24 hours before kickoff to make two changes to their squad for the playoff clash and are chasing several targets.

Premier League legend Vardy has been linked with the Parkhead men all summer and has yet to secure a new club after leaving Leicester City at the end of last term.

The 38-year-old is being chased by several sides with big spending Championship new boys Wrexham interested along with ‘West Ham.

Sources suggest Vardy is keen on a move to Parkhead and a reunion with his former Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic are on the hunt for attacking options with two wingers and striker on the shopping list.
