Club World Cup's €120m bonanza is up for grabs

MANCHESTER City or Chelsea could bag a staggering jackpot of nearly €120million if they win the Club World Cup this summer.

The revamped 32-team tournament has proved highly contentious ever since its announcement - with players and managers warning of burnout from the increased demands of an already packed football calendar.

But FIFA hope that the staggering sums on offer will mean the likes of City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich will go all out to make the competition a success this summer.
