Brutal assault is caught on video

GARDAI have launched an investigation after a man suffered serious injuries in a brutal daylight attack that was caught on video.

The victim, who is in his 50s, is seriously ill in hospital following the shocking attack in south Dublin on Wednesday afternoon.

A minute-long video was posted on social media on Wednesday evening and shows the horror of the attack in McIntosh Park in Cabinteely.
